This is a mirror of current MaxMind's GeoIP Lite
database rebuilt with the legacy format, to be compatible with iptables' xtables-addon-common.
GeoLite Legacy databases were discontinued on January 2, 2019. Learn more.
The database can be downloaded at the following link:

To deploy it to your typical xtables-addon-common directory just run:
wget -q https://legacy-geoip-csv.ufficyo.com/Legacy-MaxMind-GeoIP-database.tar.gz -O - | tar -xvzf - -C /usr/share/xt_geoip
Now you can use iptables' GeoIP module.
It's rebuilt every Sunday at 04:00 CST using Sander Spies' docker image.
This site includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com.
